How can conflict be positive? Most would hear conflict and think of only the negative impacts that it can have. However, effective conflict management can have a positive result. When there is a small amount of conflict, there can be discussion surrounding the need for improvement or innovation. Too much conflict that is not productive can have the opposite, crippling effect. This skill is very important as a part of leadership and when working in a team environment.
