We are proud to help build a home for a hero! Pulte has partnered with Building Homes For Heroes to build a home for local Iraq War Veteran and purple heart recipient, Jerry Majetich. Majetich will be making Del Webb, Nocatee his home. Surrounded by a community of support, Majetich helped break ground at the site of his family’s new home on May 20, 2021. The amazing organization, Building Homes For Heroes and its supporters has afforded Majetich and his family the opportunity to build their dream home without a mortgage. We have the privilege of building Majetich’s dream home in the Del Webb, Nocatee community. The Majetich family are projected to move in this September. Until then, we will be on-site building the house they will soon call home.
Building Homes For Heroes is an organization started as a result of the September 11, 2001, terrorist attack. The founder, Andy Pujol, volunteered in the search and rescue side-by-side with our heroic first responders. As a result, Pujol made the commitment to help the brave men and women who have fought to defend our freedom. Pujol’s dream has grown to more than 270 homes gifted to our nation’s veterans. On average one home is gifted every 11 days! Building Homes For Heroes has the goal to gift their 300th home by early 2022, and 500th home by 2025. It is only with the support of communities, volunteers, and corporations that this outstanding goal can be achieved. Pulte is proud to partner with such a fantastic organization that is so dedicated to our nation’s heroes! Watch the Majetich family break ground on the site of their new home in the video below.
